The Opawica Exploration Opportunity
Tapping into World-Class Gold Potential
With seven active producing mines within a 10km radius, Opawica’s properties are along one of the most prolific gold-bearing structures in the world, the Cadillac-Larder Lake Break/Fault. This location provides vast opportunities for significant gold discoveries.
Invest in Proven Gold Exploration Success
Opawica has invested over $5 million in previous drilling and geotechnical programs, achieving great success. Historical tests at its flagship Arrowhead property have produced impressive results, with chip samples yielding up to 90.75 g/t gold over 1 meter. The company now plans to drill deeper, targeting new gold bearing minerals believed to exist at greater
Low-Cost Operations for Maximum Exploration
Opawica properties benefit from hydro power, road access, and local accommodations, enabling sustainable and cost-effective drilling and geotechnical work programs. These advantages mean the company enjoys a significantly lower cost of operations compared to other locations, enhancing profitability and operational efficiency. This strategic positioning allows Opawica to maximize resource utilization and focus more capital on exploration and development.
The Abitibi: A Prolific Gold District
With a mining history spanning over a century, the Abitibi Gold Belt is one of the world’s premier gold districts, consistently delivering significant discoveries. The belt’s combined gold output, including both past production and current reserves, exceeds 300 million ounces. Home to at least 21 gold deposits, each containing three million ounces, this region remains a powerhouse of gold production and exploration.
Cutting-edge Exploration for Gold Discoveries
Opawica has invested millions of dollars into past drilling programs with great success. Historical tests at its flagship Arrowhead property have produced up to 90.75 g/t gold (over 1 meter) in chip samples. The company now plans to drill deeper to uncover new mineralized veins believed to exist. Using advanced exploration techniques, such as state-of-the-art geological surveys and cutting-edge drilling technology, Opawica aims to maximize the accuracy and efficiency of its exploration efforts.

Abitibi Gold Belt
A Century of Unmatched Gold Production
The Abitibi Gold Belt is one of the most prolific gold-producing regions in the world, significantly boosting Canada’s gold output historically. Part of the Canadian Shield, this region is renowned for its unique and ancient geology, making it a prime target for gold exploration and mining for over a century.
Key discoveries in the prolific Hollinger, McIntyre, and Dome mines triggered the initial gold rush, establishing the region as a major gold mining hub and continuing to attract significant investment to this day.
The Detour Lake Mine, operated by Agnico Eagle, is one of Canada’s largest gold mines, with substantial production and reserves. The Canadian Malartic Mine, jointly owned by Agnico Eagle Mines and Yamana Gold, is one of the largest open-pit gold mines in Canada.
Since mining began in the early 1900s, the Abitibi region has become a gold powerhouse, hosting over 124 mines. Remarkably, at least 15 of these mines have each produced more than 3.5 million ounces of gold. The region’s total gold content, combining past production and current reserves, surpasses a staggering 300 million ounces. Most of these rich deposits are found along fault lines in major deformation zones like Cadillac-Larder Lake and Destor-Porcupine, creating gold camps with historical production exceeding 10 million ounces. This extraordinary legacy cements Abitibi’s status as one of the world’s premier gold-producing regions.
